i went to the farm-overworld to zombify and cure 1 of my villagers and it died for some reason
maybe a separate world that is always hard, or change the difficulty back?

Yes, we’ve changed the farm-world difficulty from “hard” to “normal”. The goal is to not make it too or more challenging for players so they can utilize the farm world better. It’s unfortunate that this broke your specific use case though.
